Auditions and Summer Activities

We had our Spring Show: Sisters from Another Mister on Saturday May 14th. We want to thank all of you that came out to see it. We had an awesome time performing. Singing in an Andrew Sisters style helped us grow closer and create sweet harmonies we love to hear and sing!
We will be walking in the Indy Pride Parade on June 11th. That event is always so much fun for us to participate in.
We will be booking a few more events for our Summer. Need performers? Contact us today to get you on our schedule!

Indy Adult Show Choir's Open Rehearsal and Audition for Our Spring Show

Have you ever thought about joining a community choir in the Indianapolis Area? Do you like to sing and dance? 
The Indy Adult Show Choir is having an Open Rehearsal and Audition on February 12th, 7:00pm at Crooked Creek Baptist Church. At that rehearsal, we'll have a quick *vocal audition (some scales at the piano) and movement audition. 
We will be looking for singers and dancers at this event.
*No prepared vocal piece is needed.

Spring Season 2014 Theme

We are getting ready to start our 2014 Spring Season, and we have picked our theme! Our theme for this coming season "Decades-Music hits through the years!"
In this show, we will feature music from the 60's through now! Songs included will be favorites from the 60's girls groups, like "Baby Love" and "Chapel of Love." There will be songs from the 70's, like "September" and "Tell Me Something Good." We will sing 80's favorites, like "Walking on Sunshine" and "Express Yourself!" We will perform great 90's songs from bands like U2. We will sing a medley of Maroon 5 hits. This are just some of the awesome tunes will be paying tribute to!

Join the Indy Adult Show Choir!

The Indy Adult Show Choir is having an Open Rehearsal on February 13th, 2014 at 7:00pm.  At this rehearsal, we will run through the music for the Spring season. After the music run through, our director will listen to each perspective member sing a few scales at the piano. Then, we will have a quick movement audition. 
Our Open Rehearsal will be held at Crooked Creek Baptist Church in the basement. Please park in back and come in the back door.
We will be looking for men and women of all voice types; soprano, alto, tenor, and bass.

What we are working on!

Hi, everyone! We are getting some attention from the news article that was in the Indianapolis Star yesterday! We want to thank Will Higgins for the kind things he said about us!
Right now, we are working towards the Pechin/Myers wedding that is happening in the beginning of November.  We are also working towards our Christmas Show. Our Christmas show is happening on December 14th, 7:30pm at Crooked Creek Baptist Church.  It costs $5 for Adults, $3 for School age children, and five and under are free!  Tickets are available at the door.

IASC is having an open rehearsal!

Ever thought about joining a show choir, but didn't know how to get started? 
Most of us have watched "Glee" and thought, It would be so much fun to sing in a show choir! Well, now's your chance!
The Indy Adult Show Choir, a community choir in Indianapolis, is looking for new members!  We are holding an open rehearsal on August 1st, 2013.  This will be at Crooked Creek Baptist Church at 7:00pm.

Our Spring Show Auditions

We are looking for men and women who sing!
The auditions for the Spring Season of the Indy Adult Show Choir will be at Crooked Creek Baptist Church from 7pm-9pm.
Please come with a 16-20 bar audition piece that shows off your voice. There will be voice testing (singing some scales with the piano) and a small movement audition.
Park in back of the church and come in the back door into the basement.
Our theme this season is Disney! Ever dreamed of being a Mouseketeer? This can be your chance!
Normal rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7pm-9pm. The show will be on June 8th.

The Christmas Show, December 15th, 2012

Our next show was a success!  It was on December 15th at Crooked Creek Baptist Church!  This was our 3rd Annual Christmas performance. We performed Christmas favorites and new music that were well received!  We sang, "Song of Santa," which is every song you've ever heard about Santa in about eight minutes, and "Winter Song," a song by Sarah Bareilles and Ingrid Michaelson.  It's simplistic beauty creates a richness that is worth hearing live!  This show was a fun one to watch!

Our Fall Auditions are coming up September 6th!

The next audition to join Indy Adult Show Choir is on Thursday, September 6th at 7pm at Crooked Creek Baptist Church. For this audition, you will need to have a 16-20 bar solo prepared. An accompanist will be provided. You will also be asked to do a short movement audition that will be taught that evening.

*Please arrive as close to 7pm as possible.
